Question about Chevrolet Blazer
Started to blink today.
Took it to Auto Zone when it first came on and they said a fluid might be low or it is the catalytic convertor.
checked oil today and it is low and sludgy, going to get it changed today, is that probably what is wrong?
A blinking SES means a catalyst destructive issue is active. If the engine is running rough it may be due to a missfire, I would have the codes checked to see what codes are active and that will give a place to start with a diagnosis. By the way the oil change will surely not hurt anything, it is just very remote that it will rectify the blinking SES. Good luck.
