Mine wouldn't blow warm air either so I took it out on the hiway and ran it at 5 grand for about 10 minutes.now it works like new.

UNDER THE HOOD TOWARDS THE FIREWALL YOU WILL SEE A HOT WATER CONTROL VALVE.. IN LINE WITH HEATER HOSES... CONFIRM IT CHANGES WHILE SOMEONE ELSE IN THE CAR CHANGES FROM HOT TO COLD.. IF DOES NOT CHANGE THEN THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM...IF DOES CHANGE THEN THE NEXT COMMON PROBLEM IS WHAT THEY CALL THE BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR...THESE ARE LITTLE DOORS IN THE DASH THE DIVERTS AIR IN THE DIRECTION YOU CHOOSE...THIS IS A MAJOR JOB TO REPLACE.. hello. i can assist you. your lincoln has a blower relay and yours is shot. go to any autozone, buy the correct blower relay for your lincoln and ask them to assist you in installing it. It just plugs in under the dash. This should solve your problem.

the computer that controls the deflector motor are not responding and opening the door for heat, I'm sure you have climate control,check the temp setting sensor to the computer input first

Since your blower is working and it is a heat issue,thats where we'll start,First thing is have you checked the coolant level in the radiator when engine is cold,make sure it is filled to top,next verify you have coolant in reserve ,Start your van and get it up to normal operation temperature,If your heat gauge on the dash works correctly it should be 190 degrees,Now lift the hood and locate the two heater hoses going into the heater assembly at the fire wall,Both hoses should be hot to hold on to,if both are hot and no heat inside your problem will be the blend air door in heater assembly.
if neither hose is that hot you need to replace the thermostat in the engine to get it up to 195 degrees.
if one hose is hot and one is luke warm then the heater core is blocked and to blame. hope this helps you.

My heater on my 2000 cdillac escalade will not blow hot air


The heater core may be plugged. After the vehicle is warmed up to operating temperature, feel both hoses (careful they may be hot) and see if they feel equally warm. If one is noticeably warmer than the other, your heater core is likely plugged.

Heater core is working properly but car will not blow hot air only cold air i am thinking the flapper that controls hot \ cold is stuck in the cold air position

Blows cold out of left defroster and hot air out of right


There are small doors within the heater/AC components located under the dash that direct the flow of air. Something has gone wrong with the operation of these doors.

I doubt this is a do-it-yourself project. Significant disassembly is required.

It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.
