Im looking for a tyre pressure sensor for my renault laguna 2033 plate but not sure what im looking for or how to fit one thank you

1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.

2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.

3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

3. Here is a list of information about the Renault Laguna tyre pressure sensors to assist you. The 2nd link below shows a picture of the tyre valve/sensor unit that fits to your wheel.

My y reg freelander has a droning noise from back of car ,thought noise was berring .jackt up 1 back wheel tried to turn but seems 2 be still in gear

Possible tyre noise, Have tyres been changed from left to right lately. Each tread section wears at an angle and changing direction of rotation will create noise. Just a thought as i had this problem with a vauxhall.

Noisey freelander

Yes, the rear diff is fcuked. It is a common fault on these models. I have a 1.8 2000 model and have now removed the rear prop. This now gives me a perfectly quiet drive, more mpg and frankly not worth getting fixed unless you really need to have 4wd. It is very common for owners to do this. Apparantly after 2001 threy used different diffs (JATCO) which are more heavy duty and don't wear out as fast!

Sounds like the wheel balance is out on the new tyres, if the rears are out of balance expect the car to shake, if the fronts are out expect the steering to shake.
Best thing is to take it back and have the balance checked. Also good idea to stay with the same make and type of tyres all round.

Regards
Chris
