The anawer to that is.......... It all rests on your ability to comprehend what you are doing, The tooling you have available. I had to pull an engine for the first time at one point in my life and ended up doing it for 40 yyrs.from 4 bangers to `6 cylinder detroit off road diesels. So, If you have, confidence,,you are logical, and have the tools. It should take you about 2 hours to pluck it out and maybe 3 hrs to stab it back in. Oh, Don't start anything unless you have proper references and a friend you can trust and turn to. Good Luck,Ned

My 2004 LeSabre shakes bad when I brake at around 50 mph. I changed the front brake pads. How difficult is it to change the front rotors?

Actually, changing the front rotors is not that difficult and they are relatively in-expensive. Anytime you change the pads on the front of your vehicle i would recommend having the rotors resurfaced or replaced. Especially if you are getting a brake pedal pulse when applying the brakes. Here is a step by step guide that will help you in removing your Front rotors.

On my 2000 buick lesabre, when I am going 70 - 80 mph and I hit the brakes the car shakes badly. I have read that this car has had tie rod problems, rotor problems and overall steering assembly problems....

if your vehicle shakes when you apply the brakes, your rotors are warped or worn. Replace the brakes and rotors!!Steering system will not cause this!!

Will a 1995 buick leSabra engine work in a 1997 buick leSabre

Yes, as long as the engine mounts line up, a 95 engine will work in a 97. Be certain that the transmission in 97 will mount to the 95.

My 95 Buick LeSabre skips a lot when breaking.

Warped rotors or bad brake pads. Remove and replace. It could aslo your electronic brake pressure modulator valve. Its on the left side under your dash. When you start your car does the red BRAKE warning light come on for a few seconds and then go out? If it does, that's normal, and your problem is warpage or pads. Be sure your brake fluid resovoir is full too.
