Wiper problem can be sorted easily, Open the cover of vwiper (motor) and tighten the bolt, it will sort it out.
I know you have to remove few screws and may waste hour or two, but it can save you time.

What can cause wipers to not work and how can it be fixed?

Hi Stacy:
First thing to check is fuse. At this time of year, if you;re in freezing country and the wiper blades are stuck in snow or ice, trying to use them can cause the fuse to blow. Make sure the wiper blades and linkages are not stuck.

Tip

Replacing Wiper Blades or Not

Do not replace your wiper blades until you have tried this, get some warm soapy water, soft all purpose cloth. Hose down your front and rear windscreen (if fitted with wiper blades) with normal water, clean the windscreen as you would when washing the vehicle. Get your cloth and dip it into warm soapy water, if your wiper arm stays upright put it in that position other wise lift it up and put a piece of towel or similar under it. Now with the soapy cloth give the wiper blade edge a good scrub, up and down, hold the blade itself with one hand on one end, it may slide out, you will notice the cloth getting black, you are cleaning off all the dirt that is stuck on the wiper blade, simple as that. It is usually that dirt which causes your wiper blades not to clean properly, you will eventually need to replace it but give it a go, you will be surprised.

Wiper blades stuck in up position on my 2005 Hyandai Tucson

Disconnect the wiring harness to the motor and check for power and ground with a 12 volt test light. If they both are good, the wiper motor has most likely failed.

How do i remove old wiper blades from a 2000 chev malibu

lift the wiper off the screen, under the arm there is usually a small plastic tab that lifts the tounge that keeps the blade on the arm, if you are fitting new ones and the clip is stuck slide the blade towards the fat ebd of the arm hard, the tounge should let go and the blade slide off, do them one at a time.

Discovery II. Wiper blades get stuck and dont retract

You meant the wiper do not park? That is a problem with the motor assembly, which is responsible for parking the wipers. The switch just turns it on, and off.

How do I remove front wiper blades to replace with new ones on my 2006 nissan quest

How to Replace Wiper Blades Guide:
Potential tools needed to replace wiper blades:
  • Flat blade screwdriver (small)
  • Small nosed pliers
  • Latex or vinyl gloves
  • Safety goggles
To replace wiper blades the actual action of replacing the blade is no big deal, it's the location of the blade down below the hood that can make it difficult though. Sometimes it helps to open the hood to gain access to the wiper blades. Other times it is helpful if the wiper blade is somewhere in the motion line of wiper action. The trick is to get the wiper to stop somewhere in the wiper arc. Turn the wipers to the on position and allow the wipers to start, and then shut the key off when the wiper has arrived in a desirable position on the windshield. To replace your wiper blades please follow the step by step instruction below. Also, watch the How to replace wiper blades video below to gain additional information. The method in which the wiper blades are attached will vary slightly.
  • Step 1: With the hood closed, turn the wipers on, when the wipers are in the middle of their arc turn the key to the off position. (Note: if this can't be done because of wiper condition and you want to avoid scratching the windshield please open your hood to gain access)
  • Step 2: Locate the mounting clips at the top pivot on the wiper blade
  • Step 3: Release the clip and remove the wiper arm
  • Step 4: Match the size of the old blade against the new blade to ensure proper fit and operation
  • Step 5: Reinstall the new wiper blade and recheck wiper operation

Common Problems:
  • Make sure the wiper blades are the same size as the original blades.
  • When replacing wiper blades not getting the blade on the mounting pin completely allowing the wiper arm to become dislodged and possibly causing damage to the windshield.
  • Using wiper blades after the blade has failed permanently damaging the windshield by craving scratches in the wiper arc.
  • Wiper blade can create a chattering noise when the blade is not properly balanced allowing the blade to "flop" back and forth as the wiper direction changes.

I hope help you with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.
