Question about 1999 Nissan Maxima
My 99 nissan maxima hesitated a few times to start a few days ago and now its turning but will not start now. battery seems a lil low. not sure where i should start fuel filter fuel pump maybe battery any suggestions.
Hello there, First you need to make sure you have a good battery, todays cars are very picky on having the proper voltage to make the systems work properly. Just a tip for you, You can take your battery out and take it to an Autozone or advanced auto parts store. They will charge your battery as well as test it for you to make sure it is working good for you.
Before you spend a lot of money on parts not needed I would make sure the battery is good and then try and see if you are not getting fuel from the fuel pump, Most cars you will hear a slight humming noise coming from the gas tank when you first turn the key on, this will last about 5 seconds, try and listen for this if you here it then your fuel pump is working.
Good Luck, I hope this helps you some.
