No.but if you will pull all the fuses one at a time and look at them, you will find the one that is blown. The injecor is pulsed threw the distibutor reluctor, and ignition module. So replacing the distributor would most likely solve the problem you are having.

Fuel injector fuse is blown, keeps blowing. Engine turns but won't catch and start.

if the injector fuse is blown then the car won`t start as its not getting fuel into the motor to fire.if the fuse keeps blowing then you could have an injector/s that is drawing too much or the injector driver in the ecm may not be any good and needs replacing or a used ecm.it could be a short some where in the wiring for the injector system that is going to ground.

Injector not working why put new injector new computer new fuel pump does it have injector relay 1987 celebrity

Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10)
The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.

Hi, are you sure your fuel pump is running? I'm assuming you have the 4-cylinder 2.5 liter engine. The ECU and the injector are powered by the same wire as the ignition system. See diagram below.

the reason the injectors stopped is because the motor is not running.this is a safety precaution built into the computer so the engine won`t flood.if the fuel pump is not working then you will have to check powers and grounds at the fuel pump connector by the gas tank to see if the unit is getting fed power and ground.someone will have to try to start the car while you check this out as there is a 2 second prime circuit if the car is not turning over.also this system uses the distributor to know that the engine is turning over to start.you may have a bad pickup coil in the distributor.this system also grounds the injectors through the ecm so you should have power to the injectors when the ignition is turned on,for your information.

Getting no fire to plug wires ,also just replaced ignition module(distributorless)

possible power relay in fuse panel underhood has failed.it is a black square plug in fuse block. these are available at parts store for about 6 bucks each.i had this problem on another ranger coupled with fuel injector problems.i traced it down to a blown power control module fuse and the fuel injector problem was the (ecm) engine control module had shorted out in the circuit board. the ecm on the ranger i worked on was located next to the vacuum booster in the fire wall at drivers side fender behind a cover plate.there is a wire harness plug attached to it and once unpluged it is replacable.

The computer is what outputs that. So you want to check the wire at the computer and see what your getting. Has the motor been pressure washed or have any changes been done recently?
