The fuel filter is located on the inside of the drivers frame rail about the point where the drivers door ends.

I don't believe this is your problem though as a clogged fuel filter will cause driveability issues when a load is applied to the motor, not at idle.

What makes car die when under full throttle but idles and runs great at low rpms

The fuel pump is bad or going bad. It sounds like it can handle the fuel demand at idle or midrange, but cuts out at higher rpms. A new or aftermarket pump might be in order.

clean the idler on the intake and also clean the throttle sensor, it would also be best to change the air filter and clean the maf sensor. Idler does more than just idle vehicle it controls low revs, and drop down from reves. throttle sensor tell ecu what air to add to the fuel. and the MAF tells ecu how much air is coming into the intake. also check for broken cracked vacuum lines.

COLD START ISSUES- WHEN COLD WONT START WITHOUT PUTTING FOOT ON THROTTLE, OTHERWISE RUNS GREAT

Most cars have a "cold start" sequence that is activated by a heat sensor. There may be 2 sensors with 1 running the temperature gauge or light, and the other operating the feedback to the "cold start circuit".
Go to a good autoparts store and see what parts they have for this circuit. Also check around the throttle for any solenoid which looks like it might step up the idle. Usually, if you have fuel injectors you will not have a step-up Solenoid.

A 2005 ford f250 with appox 80 thousand miles. Most times when u crank truck it will start up run but has no acceleration. I can shut engine off and restart and it will be fine. A few times when it starts...

Have you checked your fuel pump? Or the filter, I had a 04 , where the filter would clog and make it run bad, i would shut it off and the pressure would release and move whatever was there, I would then run fine for a while and repeat again. I changed the filter and it was fine. I also had a chevy with a bad fuel pump that would work great most of the time but not so great other times? Replaced it and solved the problem!

When at a stop light the car idles fine when i go to take off it sputters and back fires. I changed the spark plugs, but it is still doing it. It idles fine otherwise.

Does not sound like ignition, but fuel.
Idle needs little fuel.
Could be a clogged filter, water in the gas, bad pump, vacuum building up in the tank, bad sensors, etc.
Start with a gauge on the fuel pressure.
If it is low, that will point to filter or pump. Filter is cheaper to try.
If not low, then check the sensors with ohmmeter from Harbor Freight for $3.
There are O2, water temp, MAS, air temp, etc.

Car was running great. driving home all of a

Here are a couple of guesses for things to check: vacuum leak (low vacuum pressure), worn distributor cap or rotor, incorrect timing, clogged fuel injectors, malfunctioning fuel pump (low fuel pressure), ignition module on its way out. I hope these suggestions help you out.

Car would not start so replaced battery, then alternator; Ran great for roadtrip then shut down on the freeway. Can hear the fuel pump, so replaced the fuel filter; has spark. Has fuel. Wires are in good...

WHEN A CAR SHUT DOWN ON HIGHWAY OR FREEWAY.YOU CAN STILL HAVE FAULTY FUEL PUMP.IT COULD BE RUNNING BUT THE FUEL PRESSURE CAN BE TOO WEAK.THE 2.5 ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE IS 6.0 TO 7.0 PSI AND THE 3.3 ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE IS 37 TO 43 PSI. ANOTHER THING CHECK TO MAKE YOUR COOLANT IS NOT LOW.LOW COOLANT CAUSES ENGINE GET TOO HOT SHUT OFF.CHECK PVC VALVE AND EGR VALVE MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT STUCK OPEN OR DISCONNECTED.AND MAKE SURE IDLE SPEED IS NOT TOO LOW YOU IDLE SPEED IS ON THE FACTORY STICKER UNDER THE HOOD.

Car Stalls at low speed. Restarts. DTC Code 0340 and 1167

The codes you provided indicate separate issues. Code 1167 is indicative of either a stuck fuel injector of the O2 sensors. Code 0340 indicates the CMP position sensor. Replacing the O2 sensors will likely clear the 1167 code assuming the fuel injectors are okay. It would be the first course of action. If there's no noticeable change in performance (i.e. stalling problem continues) then the CMP position sensor is likely your overall problem. Best of luck.
