Could be sevral things. The first thing to check would be the starter relay. Next check the starter solinoid & nutral safty switch.

I have a 1993 caprice Classic and it won’t start now! I had it sitting for a few months and then we had a freeze! It took a couple of tries but I got it started. Now it won’t even turn over. I think it may...

Probably starter or a discharged battery. Try charging up the battery first. Anyone with a voltmeter could check the battery condition. If it is at 12.2 volts or higher, it should turn the engine over at normal starting speed. If under 12 volts, it is discharged and maybe too low to crank the engine over.
If your battery is at full charge, you probably need to pull the starter off and have it tested for free at any parts store.

My car will not start. The battery is new and has a full charge and turns everything on when I turn the key but when I try to start it, it will not do anything not even clicking noise.

if the battery is good it is NOT the alternator. the alternator charges the battery, if it won`t start with a new battery the alternator does nothing to affect the situation. check voltages at the starter motor connections for proper voltages even the wires that the ignition switch supplies power to. if you have proper voltages at the starter you can try hitting the starter while someone tries to start the car. if it starts the starter is worn internally and will have to be replaced.

98 honda crv wil start if jump started and then later won't start

Your battery is not fully charged and may not be accepting a full charge. Remove your battery and put it on a charger overnight. Take the battery to a parts store and have them hook it up. They will then be able to tell if it is taking a full charge or not. If this is a new battery it will take a full charge but it is still getting drained by something such as a radio not shutting off automatically, if you have that option.

Keep charging battery an it dies

Sorry to say that it sounds like one of the cells in your battery has 'died'. It will show a full charge when sat on the bench but as soon as you put a heavy load (like the starter motor) on it it won't want to know. Only solution is a new battery.

1992 toyota pickup won't start and battery won't charge

Sounds like your battery is just too dead, has enough juice to light up the system for a minute but cranking drains it and if it wont charge then deff fried, you could try removing the battery and starting the car with cables to confirm the starter still works. If a bettery is too dead then when you are jumping it, it takes to much of the power just trying to get through the battery.

1999 Dodge Durango LTS I had the battery charged when I installed it the battery gauge is not going all the way to 14. Car turns over but won't start.

First if the engine turns over but will not start then i woould check for spark at any of the sparkplugs and if you have spark then check your fuel pressure. If you don't have spark then you have an ignition problem.

I tried to check the fuses of my fords windstar for the right window, cause it was not working. But then , when start my windstar 95, it won't start. when turn on, nothing i wrong, but when to turn it...

Make sure battery has a full charge. Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, what is the reading? The generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Note the reading. Leave the leads touching the battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how much does the reading drop? Usually it shouldn't drop below 9.6 volts or there about. If it drops to zero, try charging the battery. Check battery cables. Did you try jumper cables to see if it would crank?

I was wondering if you could give me some things to check on my van won't start and we tried jumping it. The lights all come on with full charge . So I was wanting to know if there is a reset button...

if u unplug your battery for acouple hours it will reset youre ecu/cpu. (everything) does it turn over? or absolutly nothing? if nothing sometimes ur battery loses so many electrolytes it can't retain a charge therefore jumping won't help. new battery first step! local junkyards probably have a good battery for $20. Let me know if this helps.

I have a ford f350 duelly and it wont start but it will turn over i have jump started it and it started and now i have had it pluged in for 2 days and it still wont start plz help me figure it out

If its a diesel then you may need to get a spray can of ether starting fluid. Spray this directly into your air filter housing for approximatly 3-5 seconds. Try it once then try to start your truck. if it doesnt work then have someone else spray it in while you turn it over. However your problem maybe that you dont have enough charge in your batteries to completely turn your engine over to get full compression. in this case charge your batteries and try again.
