Question about 1990 Toyota Pickup
My truck makes a loud thump from the passenger front side whenever I slow to almost a complete stop or come to a complete stop. The loud thump also happens when slowing down when going over bumps. What could be the problem?
Most likely you have worn out suspension parts. A front shock could cause the problem because the rubber bushing holding it in place may have dried up and fell out. Upper and lower A-arms have rubber bushings as well.
Best to have the front suspension checked out before it gets worse.
