Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Simple question, Terminals on the battery are marked, but the wires in the car are not marked + or -. I remove thebattery so I want to check which is which. Think, skinny wire, closest to drivers compartment, is negative in 2002 Eclipse.
ALL BATTERY LEADS ARE THE SAME
Red wire is Poss or the biggest term/Black wire is Neg which goes to the smallest term which is earth..
Red is Feed wire to starter motor/Alternator lights etc Black or earth wire goes to engine somewhere on bolt on the block and also a small thinner wire goes to the body any where as long as its clean and no paint. and away you go (easy)
Let me know if you have any more problems Ron
Poss is+ Neg is--
