You need to clean the battery posts and wire connectors at the battery. After that, check battery with a voltmeter (car running), should read between 13.5v and 15.5volts dc.

Next time it wont start, and starts clicking, tap starter moter, with like your lugnut wrench, if it unsticks and starts, you probably need a new starter

Wont start

check the distributor & rotor arm & clean with fine grade sandpaper if required,
try this: check the fuel pump it should make a whirring sound when try to start the car, put the key in the ignition & turn it a couple of clicks but do not turn the car over, if you hear the whirring sound the fuel pump is working if not then change the relay for the fuel pump & try again, if you now hear the fuel pump working then turn the ignition off then on a couple of clicks then off again, do this two or three times then try & start the car, failing this it could be a problem with the coils, the spark plugs, the leads, or it could be bad compression in your cylinders. try all of the above before considering faulty cylinders/piston rings as this is very unlikely on a 7 year lod vehicle unless it has been thrashed & treated to a very hard life. please rate my answer, Paul.

Sounds like the starter. If you can locate it,tap on it with a hammer 3 or 4 times and try to restart. It may take several tries but should eventually start because starters don't quite fail 100%,they just kind of get stuck. If you can't find the starter, call a couple of parts stores or a dealer, someone is always willing to tell you for free to attract your business. It should work and you need a new starter.I put in a used one a couple of years ago and no problems yet,but the decision is yours.Good luck! This to me sounds like a starter problem the bendex is not engaging like it should This will cause the problems you described. Take to honda and tell the you want the starter checked. Being a 2009 I have to assume it's under warantee
Hope this helps
