What is the code you get? O2 sensor codes are many times only a symptom of some other problem like an engine vacuum leak.

Where is the oxegen sensor

O2 Sensors are in the exhaust system

In the pipe from the engine to the exhaust converter
or in the converter inlet

That is the upstream sensor, used to control the
fuel injection pulse width or fuel trim.

There are other downstream O2 sensors, called monitors,
that don't get replaced unless they fail

The ones closest to the engine get replaced at 100,000
miles, on all vehicles

A Sensor Code does not mean anything failed or
needs replacing

You need the codes & have to test to find a solution

Some vehicles have 4 sensors,if they have dual exhaust

Oxegen sensor po1035

this is an error code for heating circuit of your o2 sensor. that sensor is the pre sensor(front) which means the first sensor before catalytic converter. you need to check wires and sockets for cracks or broken parts. if they are ok you need a new sensor.

2005 dodge grand caravan 3.8 code P0135 I bought the oxegen senser but Iam wondering if it could be the egr valve needs to be cleaned. what do ya think

P0135 = O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)

With no other symptoms other than the above code, I would think it was the O2 sensor.

Where is the oxegen sensor located on a 2000 chrysler town and country 3.8 liter. does the oxegen sensor have a fuse

the oxygen sensor is located in the exhuast pipe, there could be more than one sensor, maybe 4 sensors on a 6 cylinder car and 2 sensors on a 4 cylinder car,so youre gonna have to know which one is bad,if the check engine light is on it will tell you which position sensor is bad like bank 1 sensor 2 something like that, also there is NO fuse for the o2 sensors
