Question about 2002 Jaguar S-Type
It happened 4 times during the pass week. While driving, all the warning lights lit and the car just lost power, could not accelerate. I noticed that the parkbrake warning stay lit longer than others. The warnings went away when I turned it off and restart. Please help.
Could be anything. Sometimes the parking brake fault is a sign of low battery voltage as its one of the first items to lose calibration and shows as a fault.
Try a full reset on the operating systems this sometimes clears a persistant bug. Make sure you have your radio code. Disconnect the battery and leave for 20 mins to allow all systems to drain. Reconnect and see if the fault reapears. Have you had the fault memory read for problems, this should be the first thing to check.
Hope this helps - good luck
