Unless you've run it out of engine oil because of the bad leaks , oil leaks are are not a sign of a bad oil pump , what is a sign of a bad oil pump is low or no oil pressure either due to lack of oil for the pump to pick up in the oil sump or either a mechanical failure of the oil pump, in which case you would have some internal damage to your engine. In either case if you plan to keep the car then by all means have the oil leaks investigated and repaired so the the oil stays inside the motor instead of the outside and on the ground making your driveway look horrible...

Oil pressure low means what

What it means at the very least, repair sensor or add oil due to empty sump. Next less bad: change oil and filter. Next less bad: clogged oil pump screen, change oil pump. Next worse: leaky seals or cracks causing oil to gush out of galleries. Next worse: bearings and journals leaking due to excessive play. Next worse: spun bearing, engine poised to blow. Next worse: hole in engine from moving parts damage.

I notice a oil leak and I think I coming from gasket. Also, if oil sending unit bad would I cause to lose pressure?

If the oil sender switch is bad, they can leak badly and cause your oil pressure gauge to read incorrectly. Could also possibly make you lose some pressure, but only extremely bad leaks would make a significant change in pressure. You need at least 6 PSI to run the motor without damage. (most vehicles)

1995 Camry Oil Pressure Sender location

Yes, is it the 4 or V6? I think it is either the oil pump shaft seal, or the crankshaft nose seal. The second one can be damaged by work in that vicinity such as removal of the crankshaft sprocket.

The oil pressure sender is not at that location on the 4-cyl or the 3VZ V6, but on the 1MZ V6 it is on the front face of the engine block below the alternator mount.

I have a 1998 volks beetle .. oil light has come on .. i checked oil .. says dry .. i add'd some .. then says fine.. then 10 min later says dry .. and there is no apparent leaks that i can see .. is...

If your dipstick reads dry, do NOT run the engine or drive it until you find the leak-there is no reasonable explaination for that condition, it is leaking somehow, period. If you insist on driving it, it will damage or destroy the engine in a very short time-get it checked out (have it towed), it is going to be a very expensive problem if you let it go.

I have a 2004 Tahoe and noticed that when operating the heater function this morning, the air was cold. When I drove it for a bit, it started to get warm again. Also, noticed the temp. going over normal...

head gasket leak will act that way when an if it gets bad will smoke white exhaust.will also leak antifreeze into oil so watch oil an frequent oil changes might extend time but will ultimately need new headgasket to avoid damage to engine...think about repairing before damage 2engine.

I have steam coming out of my vents when my oil light comes on.i just had an oil change and it still does it.also my defrost doesnt work.it turns on and blows but my windows dont clear.my car is a 94 jetta

the oil light coming on is the most serious .. those cars have a problem with sludge buildup in the crankcase .. usually that happens if the oil isnt changed on schedule .. but sometimes even then ... replacing the oil filter and using a good synthetic oil might make a difference if its not too bad ... the oil pressure switch could be bad or (most expensive), the oil pump could need replacing or cleaned ... you can have an oil pressure test done to determine if the pump is ok .. it is not safe to drive the car if the oil pump is bad, or if the crank case is full of sludge .. serious and expensive damage can happen to the engine .. the pressure switch is not expensive and easy to change .. if the oil pump pressure is ok then i wouild change the pressure switch .. sludge often clogs the intake screen of the oil pump .. then it cant pump oil .. of course this can quickly damage the engine .. you can drop the pan and clean out the sludge but they often just change the oil pump while they have the engine apart .. once its cloged then it can be damaged itself ..
the steam coming out of the vents could be the results of engine overheating (from lack of oil) or a leak in the heater core ..

Coolant/Oil Leak... Big or Little problem?

I think that car has a transverse mounted motor. if that is the case, the area that you see coolant is probably coming from the weep hole on the water pump shaft. that is the precursor to a bearing failure. that is where i would look first. if you get coolant on the pass side floor of the car, then it would be the heater core. hope that helps.
