I am having some problems with my speedo in a digital dash in a 1989 Jimmy S15. It doesnt light up, show a zero, nothin, but the rest of the dash works fine. Is there a possibility that it could be the...

It could be a few things. You can check these parts. You may have a defective voltage regulator, a lost ground in the sending unit, a bad sending unit, a break in the wire, or a defective fuel guage. The only way to test the wires is with a voltage meter. Test the current in each area and part. It has to be one of them, it is just finding it. All ground wires are black. You may have a loose wire, instead of a break. Make sure you check all your connections. If you need anything, let me know. Thank you very much for choosing FixYa.
