Question about 1990 Volvo 240
Lurching and erratic acceleration. Sometimes when I accelerate there is just no power. When using overdrive it helps. Recently it has been dying when at a slow speed or stopped. Just had filters changed, belt looks fine etc. Also there is a sort of chemical burning kind of smell when it does this! It starts fine though. When it dies I can put it in park and it starts right up again.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
