Question about 2004 Mini Cooper
If you haven't done the following please run the tests to get the answer to your no start, the 1st and most common issue is fuel pressure loss due to a defective fuel pump, get a can of starter fluid and spray it into the intake, if you get the engine to run for a moment then the fuel pump has failed, it is located inside the gas tank, you will need to pull the gas tank to replace it, the next issue is a failed component of the electronic engine controls, to determine this you will need to read the trouble codes, the diagnostic connector is located below the dash just in front of the steering column, u can buy a code reader or have the codes read at a shop, this will lead u in the direction of the failed part, if the fuel pump is ok the most likely cause will be a failed crankshaft sensor..
