Question about 2004 Ford Excursion
My fuel gauge is stuck on ''full'' all the time and on-board mileage computer isnt working either....is the problem the fuel sending unit? If so, how do you change the fuel sending unit on 2004 Excursion?
Ur problem might be an electrical short or bad ground or even fuse ,check for fuse burnt in fuse panel--- and fuel level unit is in fuel tank u have to drop tank and remove to see if stuck----- try first for elect than than try using a rubber mallet and hit bottom of tank usually can shock float down --but with 2 dash units not working most likely elect problem thanks 4 using fixya

It's in the fuel tank you might have to drop the tank.
