Key Wont Go In The Ignition Of Rendenvous

My key will only go half way in my igniation
A/: Your best bet is to go to the auto parts store ask for some dry powdered graphite try lubing the key hole with that.If you get the key in and it to turn your best bet would be to replace the cylinder.

Ignation switch replacement bolts that attach to steering colum are round where normal head would be. How remove to change igniation switch.

anti-theft hardware. you have to pull the whole thing out, possibly the entire steering column, and have them drilled out. Myself I would disconnect the battery and take a chisel to it, once you have busted away the old switch housing you could get a vise grip or some other tool on the bolts. that is however crossing the rubicon, in so far as starting that thing again.

I have a 1989 chevy blazer & the key will not come out of the igniation & the igniation will not turn.

Lock is broke there should be a small pin hole at the back of the lock take a piece of wire or a very small screw driver and push in real hard and jiggle the key. and you should be able to pull the lock.

Car will not start, battery seems to be good, oil was changed, new igniation coil and spark plugs installed as well as new incection fuel pump. it was running fine for 1 week went to turn the car off and...

Sounds like it could be the crank sensor. This sensor relays engine crankshaft position to the computer so it knows which spark plug to fire when as well as other info. Another common problem with a Jeep is the throttle position sensor. This usually doesn't prevent the vehicle from starting but its not impossible either.
