You need to supply more information. Does the engine crank but won't start or does it not crank at all. If it cranks and wont start the problem is either no fuel or no ignition. Check to see if you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail service port. If you don't you may need a new electric fuel pump. If you do have fuel pressure see if you have ignition at one of the spark plugs. If you do then you have to see if the fuel injectors are working. If you don't have spark you need to find out why. At this point you need to be a fair auto tech. or turn the job over to one because it is going to need some special diagnostic test made with special test equipment.

Why wont my car start

Possibly a battery cable terminal or the connection at the starter.
Sometimes a loose or faulty wire can barely work until a load is put on it then it just shuts down. Test power flow at starter before and after turning the key. Replace battery cable ends and if the problem persists, replace entire cable.

My taurus wont start

If your alternator and starter is good. You might have a dead cell in your battery, If your battery checks ok, then you have a bad ground= corroded or broken wire.

My 1999 ford taurus wont start most times

First things first, the car while not run long with out the alternator it supplies the electrical power you car needs not the battery, the battery is for starting the car. Go to your local parts store and have them test your battery and alternator, if you don't have a test or, they can do this with the parts still on the car and load test them. If those check out ok then check your ground to starter and frame ground wires for rust and corrosion, if that checks out ok. Remove starter and take to local parts store and have tested to make sure starter solenoid isn't week and that starter is working fine. My guess is one of these things are your issues. Is a check engine light on and if so have you read the codes?

I started the car and i backout of the drive way and it died and it wanted to start but wouldnt turn over. Battery checks out ok. Now when you try to start it, it wont do nothing.

So no crank no start.
Items to check out battery and battery cables (Load test battery and make sure cables are clean and tight especially the B+ cable off the starter).
Check starter relay and neutral safety switch as well as starter itself.

sounds like a bad starter,if the dash lights--radio--wipers work then most likely the starter went bad.A few years ago i had one and the starter cost then about $90.00

My Ford Taurus 1994 only clicks when trying to even when jump sta

You need to see if the battery is holding 11 volts or more while trying to crank it over. If it is, then you need to see if the same is getting to the starter motor. If the voltage looks good at the starter, the starter is bad.
At the starter you will have a larger wire from the battery, that always has positive voltage, and a smaller wire that has positive voltage only while trying to start it.

check the solinoid, also see if all the connections to the battery are good and in working order. Ensure the post on the battery are tight. Could also be your relay between the starter and groound. Good Luck.

CAR WONT START ON FORD FALCON AU (AUTO)

Check the voltage on your battery. When the battery is low, you will still have lights and what not but not enough juice to start the car. Check the condition of your battery cables especially your ground. If everything check out fine, your problem may be a bad starter or the solenoid. If you replace the starter, replace the solenoid with it. Be sure to check the cable from the starter solenoid to the starter.
