Tire pressure monitor fault

Tire pressure sensors are just that, sensitive. If all your tire have the proper pressure and you still are seeing the sensor light and it comes back on after resetting it then the computer sensor monitor is at fault. Unless you can reset your cars' computer you will probably be stuck with going to the dealer for service. Call various other reputable service centers that have certified mechanics before turning out the big green at a FORD dealership though.

Had shocks replaced at a ntb service center all four of them, also four new tires now the ride is not smooth as before, plese help

Tire centers tend to over inflate tires. You probably have become accustomed to a softer ride. Try lowering tire pressures a couple of PSI but be careful, to low a pressure will affect handling. The factory tire pressures are in your drivers door sticker.

I just had new tires put on my 2006 freestar and now I have a warning TPMS Sensor Fault, what do I need to do to have this message cleared?

Go back to where the tires were installed. The TPMS sensors either have not been linked to the car properly or one or more of the sensors is not working properly. This should have been handled by whomever did the installation of the tires.

I jus tput new 22 inch wheel a on my 2008 ford explorer and was wondering why the tire sensor fault is illuminated. Does it have something to do with the new wheels?

The tire sensors are on the base of the valve stems of the original wheels. Do your new tires/wheels have TPMS valve stems?

Unless you buy wheels with TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors in them, or put your old wheels back on, the system won't work.

Low tire pressure lamp on after tire replacement & two tire pressure sensor were replaced. costco tech says dealer has to reset. Anything I can do myself? thanks Harry

yes it will keep the low tire pressure indicator lamp on because of the replacement of the two tire pressure sensors being replaced.
the new 2 sensors is not recognized by the the system. it has to be brought to the dealer for reprogramming.

What size tire went on 15 inch rims for 90 Buick Regal?

you need to call a tire place. They have a database that pretty much covers any and every car tire vs. rim size in the universe. NTB- MERCHANTS- FIRESTONE- SEARS any one of those

New tires and rims were installed on my 2005 Pacifica and now the service tire system soon, light is on. Why?

This particular car has the tire pressure monitoring system on it with sensors in the wheels. If the sensor was messed up when it was reenstalled on the new rim it would throw this code. Some vehicles have the sensors with specific mount locations and if one of the sensors was reenstalled in the wrong location it could cause this fault. You can take it to the dealer and have them check the sensors and see if all are reading properly and are in the right locations.

Tire pressure sensor fault

you need to remove the sensors in you factory wheels or buy new sensors to install in your new wheels. there is no way to turn this option off.
