It does not really have a gasket it has an o-ring that goes around the thermostat. No I don't think the duralast ones come with one you have to get it seperately.

Need to gain access to thermostat so i can replace it

Your thermostat is on the air intake housing. You will need to remove the hose going to the engine. it is connected to the cap. you will unbolt this cap, and under it is the thermostat. make sure you clean the cap and engine block down to metal( when putting the new gasket on, you don't want leaks) replace thermostat, put the new gasket to the cap and bolt back to the air intake. Do not over tighten, this cap is just made of pot metal, and will break. replace the radiator hose, and start the car, let it warm up and check for leaks. no leaks, great. turn the car off, and let cool down, then add coolant to the radiator to replace what came out. job takes about 30 minutes. hope this helps

I have a 95 buick regal custom and it is still overheating and i am lost at what to fix next, we have replaced the raditor cap, thermostat, and water pump... i have about 30,000 miles or so on the motor...

If there are no leaks, a couple more things to check are a clogged radiator and a blown head gasket. Take the radiator cap off and start the engine. Let it warm up and look inside. Does the coolant flow in from the upper hose and go down the cooling tubes? Are there deposits inside? With the radiator full of coolant to the cap neck, are there any bubbles coming up the neck? Bubbles of combustion gas indicate a blown head gasket.
Lack of flow indicates a clogged radiator. A badly clogged radiator is best replaced rather than flushed. Let me know if you need instructions or have more questions.

Where is the thermostat housing on a 1006 Buick Regal?

The thermostat in the 3.1 engine is in the thermostat housing. Follow the upper radiator hose towards the engine, where the hose connects to the engine is the thermostat housing which leads under the throttle body. Yup, it's not the easiest thing to get to unless you have small hands and a few socketextensions and swivel. If you have small hands you can remove the thermostat housing without removing the throttle body. Just remove cross over exhaust heat shield to give you enough room to get the socket with an extension and swivel to the two bolts to the thermostat housing under the throttle body. Remove front bolt and the second one just needs to be loosen and you can wiggle out the thermostat housing to replace the thermostat. If you need more room, your going to have to remove the throttle body and replace the throttle body gasket also to give you more room to get the thermostat housing out. Good luck and hope this helps and take care not to damage the temperature sensor on the manifold just in front of the housing. Keep me posted if you have any more questions and take your time.

93 buick regal water pump gasket?

If it has a large hose and a smaller hose that goes to it, it's your thermostat housing gasket.
