Question about 1995 Toyota Avalon
I have a similar problem..my avalon 95 car seat moves forwards, up and down, the back-rest tilts. The only problem is it is not moving backward..have to literally crawl into it. It used to sometimes get stuck in very cold winter conditions, but just a couple days back it got stuck even at temps around 50-60degrees.
Try having someone tap on the drive motor and cable while you sit in the seat and keep a backward pressure on the seat. If this is successful than you've got to lubricate the cable housing with a spray oil.
