U do not have a clutch cable, the system uses a hydraulic clutch release, it is self adjusting, when the clutch starts to slip or engage high on the pedal the clutch is worn out, average cost to replace this clutch isw around $600 on this SUV

SOURCE: 2003 santa fe 4 cycl clutch replacemnt

The fastest way is to remove the rad and move the engine ahead enough to change the clutch. Be sure to support the trans. Otherwise you will be into a lot of work under the truck. Frankster016

My 2003 Santa Fe will not stay in 5th gear! I have a new clutch!!! What's up??

This is not a clutch problem this is a worn part in the transmission causing this, have the transmission removed and torn down and inspected to see what is worn out and affecting the 5th gear.

Is there a way to adjust the manual clutch on a 2004 Hyundia Santa Fe? If not, how to read the feedback from the pedal?

No Adjustment. What is the pedal doing? does it "feel" normal? is the fluid level OK? If its low, there is a leak. Replace the Master and Slave cylinder. If the clutch releases at the top of the pedal travel, the clutch is worn out.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping . You will need a new clutch assembly and fly wheel. Also make sure the crank shaft end play is not excessive.

Parking brake

I just replaced rotors on my 2003 Santa Fe, There are 2 phillips screws in the rotor that must be removed. There is an auto adjuster on bottom of brakes. That inspection hole is very small! Sometimes you must tap a hammer around the drum to loosen the rust. Hope this helps.
