Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck
I do not have a service manual. Engine caution light came on this morning. What coud be the problem? Changed the oil/filter. How do you reset the light?
It could be a number of things. The best thing to do is to take the truck to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer for codes stored. Most parts stores will do the scan for free and getting the codes will eliminate speculation and will show what the computer has noted so that appropriate corrective action can be taken. If there were no codes noted, then they can reset the light with the scan tool. Hope this helped and best wishes.
