SOURCE: Trying to change the water

Sometimes you have to heat the head of the bolt with a torch the use an impact wrench to break it loose.

If you don't have access to the above, you can remove the starter motor and jam the flywheel with a screwdriver or something and use a long breaker bar on the crankshaft bolt. (Kind-of the hard way, but it can work)

If you are replacing the water pump, it is recommended that you also replace the timing belt and the belt tensioner pulley while you are in there. I also personally recommend replacing the camshaft, crankshaft, and oil pump shaft seals. This can keep you from having to go back in there because of an oil leak. If this is all done at the same time, there will be no need to go back in there for another 60,000 miles.

SOURCE: if the miles already reach 100,00kms isuzu trooper

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. It is recommended to change at 100,000. You can take off your front protection cover to look at the belt/chain to inspect it. They can last twice as long but if it breaks, you are stranded. It can also cause engine damage. If you have the time and money, change it.

2001 isuzu trooper hesitationg on acceleration around 30mph. could it be a mass air sensor problem? bad gas? just filled up the tank on friday, just started this morning. runs just fine until i rev the...

change your spark plugs......most of the power lost involved is because of using injector cleaners and toooooooo much of it........it ok to use it.....but it will fowl your plugs.......supper easy to change them...Note: make sure you use a spark plug socket...with the rubber insert so you dont keep dropping the plug.......just unplug the black wires one at a time and pull out the coil/plug wire.......and change them......please dont use those crappy champion plugs.....!!
