3.3 engine or 3.5 its the same its located in the left front corner of engine compartment, you could, but some modules need programing, find out when you buy it,if so have dealer program,it will be cheaper if you buy and install ,

42Le trans. will not shift out of ow gear need to locate TCM

If you are looking for the "TCM" it is pretty fair to assume that you have not yet scanned your computer network for fault codes. How do you know the problem is not being caused by something simple like a speed sensor? Just asking!

There is no "TCM" on a 2002 Dodge Intrepid. The transmission is controlled by the same computer module that controls the engine. It is called a "Powertrain Control Module" or "PCM".

Signal lights are not working, can you show me in a diagram where the flasher is located on a 1996 intrepid?

The turn signal/hazzard flasher is a small unit ( little black box, 5 prongs ) Located between the fuse box and brake peddle on a braket under the drivers side air conditioning duct. At some point and time in 1995 dodge swiched over in the middle of production so some 95 intrepid and 96 and 97 should all be the same.

the crank sensor is on the passenger side of the car on the back of the engine. Check right up there by the transmission housing.

Location of speed sensor a for 99 dodge intrepid

The "Vehicle Speed Sensor" signal is generated by the transmisson output speed sensor. That is the one located at the rear of the case. It is externally mounted. That supplies "vehicle speed" info to the other On-Board Computers. The input turbine speed sensor is located just behind the bell housing area of the case. I believe the trans controller is the only module that needs that info. The Crank Position Sensor give engine RPM info and it is located on the bell housing near the engine block. I hope this helps.

The PCM, ECU (engine control module, powertrain control module, brain box, etc.) is located underneath the airfilter assembly. Remove the accordian hose attaching the intake to the air box then remove 2-3 bolts securing the airbox in and you will see it sitting underneath there.

Ignition Module

They don't have an ignition module per say.. You firing is controled by the PCM, which is the computer and is locater under your air intake box, which has to be remover for access. How did you come up with the idea it was a bad ignition module??
