Some cars do that...Standing rule when working on any car is to always open the drivers side window whenever doing any kind of work. You can get to the key switch faster in an emergency and will prevent lock outs!

Try turning the ignition on ( but don't start ) and push the drivers door unlock button. The light should go out. Good Luck.

Dome lights

You don't have the dome switch in the on postion do you? If not, the headlight/dome switch may be the problem. It's very seldom that the door pressure switch is the cause of this problem.

2000 Blazer power seats

i dont thing there is something to do with the power seats when you blew an engine, plus the power locks too.

im thingking, when you put the engine, a lot of wires and fuse boxes are in the engine compartment, you could probably disconnect some wire that are on the way on changing the engine and forgot to put the wires back together.

that is the only thing i could think of..

i hope i answered your questions...

tnx

Repare electric window tailgate 1990 fullsise blazer

latch the locks and trick the door in thinking it is shut. then once you are done pull the handle and relase the latches before you close the door.

there is a safty switch in the latches that keep the window from working unless the door is shut.
