Question about 2005 Kia Amanti
I have a 2005 Kia Amanti, I have been averaging just over 23 MPG. Last week the overall MPG just started to fall 3 or 4 tenth a day, today I'm at 18.4 MPG and Falling. That's almost 25% less gas milage in a week! What could be causing this? I have not changed the way I drive or how much I drive, I'm very consistant, work and back, to the kids football practice and back, I use the cruse control everyday, set at 65. Most of my driving is highway.
The car has 80K on it.
To help identify or eliminate driving habits or conditions, try resetting the MPG for every trip and logging the results. Be sure to note idling times, heaviness of traffic, how much stop and go there is, etc....
