Start by checking your brake switch to see if there's a malfunction
Then check your wiring and connectors.
Then if all is good. You may need to check your PCM

Motor engine Light staying on when car moving

I think you mean you have the Check Engine warning light displaying once you have started the engine.

If this warning light is displaying when driving the car there is an irregularity with the engine operation.

You need to take the car to the dealer or other competent service business so they can hook up a scan tool to the vehicle and see what fault codes the computer is generating and what other irregularities are apparent with the engine operation.

Don't delay getting it checked out or the onboard computer could send the vehicle into "limp mode" as an engine safeguard measure if the problem gets worse.

There are multiple causes(dozens) for a CE warning to display and it needs to be properly diagnosed so the correct repair can be undertaken. Even relatively small and easier to repair problems can still cause a CE warning to display such as a vacuum leak or the failure of a sensor unit. So get it checked out ASAP.

Why would the oil light stay on?

That depends on the type of oil warning light being displayed. There are 2 types of warning lights

1. Low oil pressure light which all cars have
2. low oil level light which some cars have.

Low OIL PRESSURE warning means the oil pressure is below minimum and when this happens there will be insufficient lubrication of many engine parts because sufficient oil cannot get to all parts of the engine it is required to lubricate. Until the cause is identified and rectified the warning light will remain. If you run your engine with low oil pressure you will cause expensive damage to internal engine components.

Low OIL LEVEL warning means the oil in the sump has dropped to a dangerously low level (which may be due to an oil leak or abnormal oil consumption by the engine.) This warning means the oil level needs to be topped up and the warning will stay displayed until you top up the oil. Running the engine with low oil will cause expensive engine damage.
Since it is a 2 minute job, Oil levels should be checked fortnightly as a minimum, together with radiator coolant and power steering fluid levels, if you run the car most days each week as most people do.

It is possible for a warning light to remain displayed when the cause has been dealt with because there is a problem with the sender unit. However it needs to be established with alternative checks that the problem has been fixed before investigating if there is a problem with the warning light itself.

Check Engine light with code P0703

About $20 for a new brake light switch that can be installed in about 15 minutes or less usually, may be good insurance for a long distance drive. The code doesn't say it's a switch malfunction, the computer has seen a fault in the brake switch circuit and set the code-could just be a poor connection there.
More important, how do the brake lights work? I think I'd buy the switch or check the connector by the pedal at least. The computer may not let the cruise control work because of the code.

Pontic check engine code P0703

Hi the code P0703 is Brake switch B circuit malfunction. I`m not sure if this means the brake switch
is faulty or the wiring to it is faulty.
The brake switch is the best place to start ( but check the connections to the switch )
I hope i have been of help to you.
