Swap your sparkplug cables #1 with #2 and #3 with #4.
If #2 & 3 still don't spark, then replace the electronic ignition module.

If 2 & 3 spark, then replace sparkplugs and/or wires.

2001 daewoo lanos Do the timing marks on the camshafts need to meet at every rotation of the crankshaft, or every other. What is the coil order for the spark plug wires

The camshaft marks will line up at every other rotation of the crankshaft. The crank turns two revolutions for every one revolution of the camshaft.

The coil order-do you mean the firing order? It is 1-3-4-2. Cylinders 1 & 4 share one coil. Cylinders 2 & 3 share the other coil. On the coil pack, #1 is to the outside, then # 4 inward of #1. On the other coil, # 3 is to the outside, and # 2 is inward of # 3. (These should be marked or identified on the coils.) So looking at the coil pack, it will be 1-4-2-3. But the firing order is 1-3-4-2, as all 4 cylinder engines are.

Running on two cylinders

The removal of # 3 & # 4 tells you those cylinders are
contributing the most ,as removing the wire causes the motor
to stop
My guess is that the other cyl #1 & #2 are not firing at all, if there
is no change

If you had a V6 or V8 it would continue to run,not so with only
4 cylinder

Learn or study the ignition system & replace any ignition control
module that fires the first two cylinders

Get an HEI Test Spark Plug & put the plug wire to that & ground it
& see if you get spark, check all the plug wires one at a time.

Don't forget timing belts that are worn & slip, battery voltage, alternator output & A/C Ripple coming out of it

I would check compression or better yet, do a cylinder leak down test.
Could be you have worn valves in #1 & #2 thus little spark
Check fuel pressure at motor with a gauge

2002 ford focus zts no spark at cylinders 2 and 3 battery voltage at electric connector coil towers ohm at 10.6 and 10.6 at connector 0.08 and0.08 but no spark out of coil

Swap coils over ie: put 2 / 3 coil where 1 / 4 coil go and viser versa. If your no spark moves from 2 & 3 to 1 & 4 you have a faulty coil which is what I think yur problem will be.

How do you change spark plugs in a 2004 hyundia sonata

It depends on which engine is in the vehicle. The 2004 Sonata came with two possible powertrains -- the 2.4 Lit L4, and the 2.7 Lit V6.

On the 4 cylinder engine, there are two coil packs and two ignition wires, Below each coil pack is a spark plug (#2 and #4 cylinders). The wire from # 2 coil pack goes to #3 spark plug, and the wire from #4 coil pack goes to #1 spark plug.

Now the 2.7 Lit V6 requires you remove the surge tank (intake manifold) in order to access the spark plugs & wires on Bank 1 (Right Hand side of the engine).

What is the spark plug firing sequence for my 2000 honda accord?

2.3 L 4 cylinder is 1-3-4-2 & the distributor rotates clockwise.

3.0 L V6 is 1-4-2-5-3-6

2.3 liter
Cylinder # from passenger to drivers side 4-3-2-1
Distributor rotating clock wise #1 is at 6 O"clock (towards the radiator.)

3.0 liter V6
Cylinder # from passenger to drivers side, firewall 1-2-3
Cylinder # from passenger to drivers side, radiator 4-5-6

Good luck and keep me posted if you have any other questions.

Spark plug wires aren't corrextly attached to coil

153624Bring # 1 piston up on compression stroke and see where the rotor is ointing, That is the tower you put #1 on. then 53624 in the direction of rotor rotation. Put a piece of tissue in #1 plug hole and when it blows out, its on the compression stroke.

No spark on no. 1 & 4 cylinders

Bad coil...you didn't list your motor size so it is either ignition module or coil.
