When it does not start put fuel gauge onto injector line see if you have 32-40psi with key on and cranking then check for spark it also would be good to have a scan tool with data to see if crank signal is present

When your engine is running put a bottle of dry-gas in the fuel tank to help get rid of any water that may be in there. Make a note of wether the gas tank is full or near empty when engine won't start. It could also be the fuel pump getting ready to go. May also need a new fuel filter. Hope this helps. God bless!

Truck fires really well but wont start, seems like no fuel

Please define "fire power". Is this just the power from the battery swinging the engine, or did you check if there is a healthy spark on the plug wires? If an engine dies without warning, the chances are very good it is the crank angle sensor in which case there will not be any spark on the wires even though the starter will swing the engine quite lustily without starting.

Engine light doesnt come on when key is turned on,cranks but will not start.no fire no fuel

Take to car to a diagnostic center, and they will attach a diagnostic machine to the car to see if it's the onboard-computer that's malfunctioning.

If the fuses are all OK, and the starter cranks the engine, but there's no firing, the diagnostic system will tell the tech what it is, there are various reasons there's no firing when the engine cranks,

Someone may say check the disable switch on the transmission, but if that's broken, the starter will not crank the engine.

Drove to the store, turned off the car,5 mins later tried to start it and all it does is crank and crank but wont start.NEVER had a starting prob. before! alternator is good, battery is good, starter is...

Yes, they can. With no warning whatsoever, in some cases. Do you not hear it turn on for a couple seconds with key on? Try some starting fluid sprayed into the engine, then crank it. If it fires up and runs a few seconds, you know it is a gas problem.
The definitive test for a bad pump is to check for power on the pump wire at the gas tank connector, when the engine is cranking over. If power there and no pump, the pump is bad. If no power getting to the pump when cranking, the pump circuit needs checked-check the fuel pump fuse, there is also a fuel pump relay under the hood.

make sure crank sensor is plugged up.. Make sure small wires on starter are hooked up coil electric and ECM power comes from starter wires. Check too see if you have a check engine light if not check fuzes for ECM.

Car will not start when ignition key is turned. All warning lamps light up, enginee doesn't even try to start even with the clutch depressed

1. So the car was running normally and then on one occasion you put in the key to start it and all the warning lights flash up on the dash and the starter motor will not turn the engine over. Is that correct.

2. When you last drove the car were any warning lights appearing on the dash.such as check engine warning, engine overheating, electrical charging warnings etc.\

3. Has any work been carried out on the car recently.

4. How old is the battery in the car.

No engine cranck, no warning lights

Check solenoid on starter motor.

A quick fix which works on occasion when solenoid hasn't completely failed is to strike the starter motor body with a hammer whilst trying to start.

Check power to solenoid with the key turned to crank position.

No power to solenoid? Check steering lock cluster, relay and fuses.

Do you have a flashing key on the instrument cluster? Change or re-program the ignition key

If you have no warning lights, no power to solenoid then check negative terminal fixing from battery.

If all is well, yet no crank, then replace starter motor and solenoid.

When cold starter does not turn over then suddenly fires up, when warn turns over normally?

Have ur battery checked out first. If that is ok,then its your starter motor brushes worn.Solution change the starter motor. When the engine is warm its easyer to crank over because all the moving parts get warm and expand making it easyer to start when warm.Hope that was helpfull goodluck
