Question about 1990 Lincoln Town Car
I recently bought a 1990 lincoln town car the stock radio was in it and didn't work so i put another one in it, meanwhile after i got everything hooked up i started the car and the aftermarket radio started smoking so i killed the car, unhooked the radio and restarted the car and then the dash (instrument cluster) lights wouldn't come on, i put all new fuses in it and they still won't come on. i was wondering if it could possibly be a relay switch or something. idk.... please help.
No need to say you obviously created a short circuit when you installed the radio and something got fried.
Could be the dimmer, you could try to bypass that but in all honestly I think it is best left up to a pro.
