The thermostat is on the engine end of the lower rad hose the water pump is under the timing belt cover it is usually changed with the belt

97 toyota avalon xls 3.0 no fuel installed new fuel pump it started and then stalled ;no fuel pressure at fuel rail


if one of the o rings on the fuel pump moved when you installed the new pump that may cause you to have no fuel pressure. i have had the same problem once before and it was one of the o rings on the fuel pump. lubricate the o rings with vasaline before installing

IF YOU PULL OF THE RAD CAP AND START THE ENGINE YOU SHOULD SEE THE WATER CIRCULATE PAST THE CAP OPENING IF THE ENGINE OVER HEATS WHILE THE CAP IS OFF THE STAT WOULD BE MY FIRST CHOICE BUT WITH TOYOTAS YOUR RITE THERE AT THE WATER PUMP ALSO SO BOTH WOULD BE A SAFE BET

Where is the thermostat on a 1995 toyota avalon?


I believe it is on the water pump which is in the front of the 3.0 engine at the end of the bottom radiator hose.
