Question about 1994 Mazda MX-6
You should be able to adjust the distributor and tps to try and stop the surging. The tps is going to be located where the airbox hose connects to the intake. Look left on the front side and there should be a sensor with 2 screws. loosen and adjust. For the distributor you can advance it or ****** the timing be adjusting it.
