On mine, 95 Grand Cherokee Orvis w/ 5.2L Auto Trans, it was 2 1/4in Hex key bolts holding it on, I used just a long Hex (maybe 5-6in long) and a 1/4in wrench from the top, once you get the hex in the bolt use the boxed end of the wrench and slip it on the Hex key to turn, once they're broken loose you can ditch the wrench untill your putting the new one on, it is a pain to replace and once the bolts were loose i had to keep repositioning the hex key because the firewall was in the way of making a full turn, and for installation to keep from dropping the bolts and possibly dropping them into the bellhousing i used electrical tape, put the bolt on the end and wrap it once or twice around the head of the bolt and the hex key, leave a good length up the wrench or in easy reach, once there threaded in pull the wrench, you'll have to anyways, and just pull the tape off
there is an up dated sensor that you can purchase it fits on the pas side rear of engine at the trans bell housing near the top 2 13m wrench size bolts hold it on wiring harnes goes up and over motor then plugs into harness its a tight fit to get to on some engines
