Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
The rear driver window will roll down but not up. If left to itself it'll fall down slowly while driving. The motor sounds like it is trying to push it up and I can feel the cable behind the runner moving up but the window doesn't go up but can be rolled down with no problem.
What is the solution and do I need to buy the whole kit including the motor or just the runner etc..?

SOURCE: Power windows roll down slowly
You can try a dry lube or lithium grease on the slow ones, but it sounds more like you need new window motors. Unfortunately Saturns are plastic cars, and... The window motors are not too difficult to change and it requires removing the outer door panel to make it easier to access.

The electric motor and cable assembly needs replacement. This is a very common issue with electric windows. The trick is to always keep the rubber channels clean and silicon lubricated.

if the motor is working you need a window regulator as it is stretched causing the anti trap sensor in the motor to kick in
