APPX. 400 MI. FROM HOME CONVERTER WENT OUT LOST POWER IN FOUR LANE TRAFFIC.
FORCED TO DO EMERGENCY REPAIR TO COME ON HOME.
QUESTION IS,WHO IS THE TOP PERSON TO SEND MY LETTER OF COMPLAINTS TO ?.????.
I CALLED LINCOLN ASST. @ 1-800-521-4140, TALKED WITH "REMONE" AND HE REFUSED TO MY REQUEST TO TALK WITH HIS SUPERVISOR 9-29-2009.
You aren't likely to get much help here since your argument is with Lincoln and this website is for general problems.
You may be out of luck with any satisfaction you might get; your car is 8 years old and if you have more than 80,000 miles on it, the failure of the catalytic converter will not be under warranty unless you have separately purchased one. Under that mileage, most parts of the emission control system are not allowed to fail. They are warranted to outlast that mileage unless an item is specified by the mfr. for replacement at a lesser mileage as a 'service item:
