Front end wire harness or light bulbs this is common. check bulbs first, but the wire harness is usually always the problem.

Its hard to say not knowing a make or model but most likely its a loose ground or poor connection at the drl module

No high beams,replaced both bulbs, daytime running lights will work sometimes and somtimes flicker, is it the DRL relay or the multie function switch.


the drl relay could cause the lights to flicker and possibly no high beams as the drl uses the high beam filament.also it could be the dimmer switch located at the base of the steering colume were the dimmer switch rod works the switch.

you will find corrosion in the forward lamp harness that's why your DRL flashes on the dash it's causing a high resistance

Running lights Flicker


change the drl module( drivers side) left below headlight and remove plug, stops flashing and no more drl free solution ....or change drl module approx 70.00 pt price
