Question about Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
You should have a heavy #10 red wire with an eyelet that will fasten to the stud on the back. You should also have 2 smaller wires ,14-16 guage, in a plug-in that slides into a slot on the top rear of the alternator. They are probably brown and red or orange. If for some reason, the plug is not there then the brown wire goes to the #1 or left hand tang, looking from the back. The red or orange goes to the #2 or right side. Make sure you use an insulated connector if you have to do this because voltage will arc between the 2 and short out your alternator. Hope this helps.
