Crankshaft sensor

Mine of the same year just done the same thing. 1993 acclaim does not have a crank sensor. The problem is timing. The camshaft broke in two on my car. If you have fire and gas the problem is timing. Whether it be the timing belt, gears or cam.

1992 Plymouth Acclaim While driving up the road

when you say coil, do you mean the ignition coil or the pick up coil (aka pickup module)? It is located under the rotor in the distributor-if you replaced the distributor (did you really?) it should have had a new unit in it, the only other thing I could guess is you have some sort of issue with a fuse or relay for the ignition.

In hot weather my 91 plymouth Acclaim bogs out

it is your computer. the ecm is the electronic control module which is the brain of your car and sometimes when the ecm shuts down so does everything thing else on the car too. you can go and buy a rebuilt ecm and make sure that they FLASH it because it wont work if they dont. it is less than $200

Not sure what yor experiencing . Do you have crank no start or no crank no start? No crank no start is battery and cables issue. Crank no start is ignition , plugs, and fuel.
