check the main earth wire near the battery. and one near the rear of the lights. unbolt them and clean the connectors up put some grease on them after. then check again. remember that when the earth wires come off the radio code will be needed to reset the the radio. be safe and take the battery off.

Won't turn over

Even though all your other electrical bits are working it could be that your battery doesn't have enough juice to crank the engine. It doesn't take much power to run the radio, lights, etc, but cranking the engine requires the battery to have a very strong charge. If your battery is more than 5 years old, that's very likely the issue. I'd start there. Also, be sure to check the battery terminals and ground for corrosion and clean if necessary. If replacing the battery doesn't solve the problem it could be the starter solenoid or a loose electrical connection somewhere.

Odometer won't work unless headlights turned off, radio lights dim, blinker won't blink all the time now battery light comes on but battery tests good. Intermittent issues getting worse. Horn

You probably have a bad ground in the electronic instrument cluster, or cluster connection to wiring harness. I would recomend you have a qualified auto tech diagnose it. It is not a easy fix.

Sometimes the car won't start and the dash lights and the radio lights flicker

Best place to start is the positive lead on the battery . Remove the lead and clean battery pole and terminal using sand paper until you have shiny syrfaces. Replace the lead and tighten the terminal . Check the battery for charge condition as what you describe indicates a flat battery

Car wont start

Hi Norman, Your problem would seem to be with the battery or the battery connections or the starter motor. A quick test for the battery is to turn on the head lights and then have someone crank the engine while you are outside looking to see if the headlights dim a fair amount. If they do, try getting a boast from another vehicle. If the engine cranks at normal speed and starts, have the battery and the connections checked and replaced if need be. If the problem persists, have the starter checked out. Just as a matter of interest, the starter motor of any vehicle is a high demand unit and if the battery is poor, it will be the first to show that fact to you. The lights and blinkers and radio take a very small charge to operate when compared to the starter motor. hope this is of help. Regards John

Lights dim and radio and A/C turn off together for about 5 second

Your issues has more than one cause. The shifting into 2nd and 1st are separate to the radio & A/C. The blinker circuit is ALSO separate to the radio and A/C. The electrical system needs to be diagnosed, starting with the battery & charging system... Then look for any bad gound circuits/cables... starting with the battery, then chassis, then any individual power components (TCM, A/C, Lights, blinkers, A/C blower motor & controls, etc.)
