The only way to really find out is to put it up in the air, any oil change facility can check it for you. More likely if you seeing grease it will likely be CV axle boot crack slinging grease every where.

A most likely suspect would be your CV joint on your front axle. It usually makes a clicking noise while turning sharply, when they first start to fail. Often you can visually inspect them, and see a torn boot , or leaking grease, but you are most likely in need of a rebuilt axle installed. When I change them, I usually just replace both axles, and wheel bearings at the same time, since the car is apart.

Lot of grease accumilating on front driverside lower ball joint. Possibly from front axel???? Is this a output seal and grease coming from there down axel??

take a good hard look at the front cv-axle there is a rubber boot that has grease in it if its cracked you will have grease leaking from it more common the grease will end up on the inside of the rim and wheel well. if that boot is not cracked then the ball joint was filled with to much grease and the old grease was forced out most of the time it tears the rubber boot that protects and keeps the grease in, now you can wipe off the grease and it should be fine for a few years or so.

Turn left andaccellarate only then howelling noise

will try to help. you may have bad passenger axle. pop and crack anytime on left turn only? or just howling? bad cv joint on passenger side. look under front of car while safely in park. look on inside of each wheel, see the rubber boots? there will be two on each side, drivers and passengers side, see any grease leaking around those rubber boots? if so, then that may be where your problem is. thank you for choosing fixya.com

Grease leaking from front end

Check the axle boot. When they rip or crack they will sling grease around.

1998 ford escort pop noise in front end when turning and breaking

you will have to put the car up and move the wheels side to side.if there is play there is a ball joint or tie rod end or stabilizer bar link that is bad.
it could also be a cv joint that is gone, look for a cracked boot or grease on the driveshaft.

Hose on front of water pump. Heater hose?

If the hose is long enough, cut a short section [say, inch or two] from the bad end and reinstall the hose and clamp. The rest of the hose is probably OK.
