First lift up on the front edge of the seat bottom. There are two hooks that latch it in place. A solid tug on either side will release them.
They are located here:

Next remove the head rests and unbolt the two 14mm nuts on the lower corners of the seat back. From there the seatback will lift straight up.

How can remove the the back seat of Corolla LE 2009

The back seats usually come with a wire seat holder imbedded within the seat. You have to push down on the knew rest area in an downward and back to the rear of the vehicle motion to remove the bottom portion of the seat. You do this on both sides. Once exposed you will see where the back portion of the backrest seat will have bolts on the bottom of the frame that need to be removed, along with the seat belt screws. You might have to purchase a special six or eight point star torques bit to remove the bolts but they are worth having around.

How do I remove the rear seat to get eccess to the fuel pump.

The bottom of the seat should just pop up with a little prying up in front, because it is only held down by two snaps.

My trunk lock and release is no longer working in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Although I can turn the key left and right as per owner's manual, trunk will not "pop open". Back seat release is in trunk; removed...

In my '04 corolla I can unlatch the left passenger seat back by reaching behind the left seat back and sticking my finger up into the second of 3 quarter sized holes. my arm is about 15" stuck in and reaching up into the trunk about 6" back. Feel around for the holes. You can pull the latch at that point, but...you have to be flexible.

How do you remove the bottom rear seat of a 1998 Toyota Corolla?

Most rear seat bottoms are just held in place with a spring frame. Push on the very bottom front center of the seat, it should have some give. As you push it in, lift up on the front. When you have it apart you will see how it works.

Cant find the third hook for middle seat belt in the back seat

On rear seat, remove it by lifting it up, then look down there for the missing hook or belt. When replacing the seat, you have to insure all the straps are on the seat before pushing in and down to replace the seat. It just pulls up and pushes down.

Are removing the rear seats good?

there shouldn't be a problem. most people here take out their seats for track/race purposes. when drifting you want to focus on lightness and suspension/brakes. check out www.club4ag.com and look at the tech referances and the forums. have fun, wish i had your car, mines the sr5 american model! :(

Remove back seat

In most cases, the factory installed rear speakers are accessible through the trunk, not behind the seat. Open your trunk and check if you can see them by looking up and forward in the trunk opening.

Replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

OK. On the front edge of the seat bottom cushion, pull up hard, both sides. This will dislodge the 2 clamps that holds the seat cushion to the floor. Pull the seat cushion out & set it aside. You will now see the female latches bolted to the area where the rear of the seat cushion meets the rear seat back bottom. Remove the bolts (14 mm I think).
