Go to a parts store and have them scan your OBDII, its free. IT sounds to me like a fouled spark plug.

Car acts doggy when going up incline or stopped and now the engine light came on

does it bark a lot just kidding I think you mean dodgy but I still have to guess what you mean by that I know these cars very well so lets see do you mean that your going uphill and the car loses engine power? your stepping on the gas but it's hard to make it up hills Yes/No? or do you mean that it's a loss of electrical power and the car dies out Yes/No? I'm going to go with the first one the check engine light is on and was/or is the engine running rough/shaking at the stop sign/traffic if so has the car been tuned up recently ? you see there's a lot of info missing here the best thing to do is go to auto zone & ask the parts person to check your trouble codes with a scanner they will do it for free this will tell you what's gone wrong with engine performance & they will tell you how much for parts only if you need a mechanic to work on your car go there and show him the scan reports of the codes listed

Why i lost engine power after i change fuel filter on MITSUBISHI DELICA turbo diesel L400 2001 model?

check for air in the fuel system
If you did not bleed the system after replacing the filter that will be a fair bet.

Losing power on uphill run.what could be problem?

Your teansmission could be going out or your rear end (differential) or maybe your loosing compression in the cylinders which will make you loose power.. Also its going up hill its got to move the full weight of the car at an angle which pushes against the car so it has to work harder... And if your going to a really good elevation say 100+ feet invest in a turbo charger BC the air is thinner the higher you go

My 2000 corolla runs rough at 55mph and smothers going uphill

Is the check engine light on ?
I don't show a fuel filter used on a 2000 model, but it could be that the fuel pressure is low from a weak pump.
I am assuming you have checked the air filter and the connector hose for a blockage.

Loses power going uphill

Could be low fuel pressure, or a long list of other things.
Is the check engine light on ?
Does it feel like it is running rough, or starving for fuel ?

2006 Ford F150, 4x4, Triton V8, 5.4L-loses power going uphill between 50-60mph. Check engine light code of P0430. This indicates exhaust system. Where to start?

code P0420 & P0430 usually indicates a problem with catalitic coverter restriced/clogged
a muffler shop can run a test to check this .a misfire in engine can also be a culprit of coverter
going bad because of unburned fuel going through exhaust system

good luck

Engine hesitates going uphill

You should definitely get it scanned to read the code caused by the check engine light. That will definitely help diagnose your problem. The hesitation could be a bunch of things - plugs, air filter... They don't cause CEL's though. A turbo problem could though. Most auto parts stores will read codes for free...

Losing power when I accelorate.

Fuel filter is the main culprit when you lose power going uphill. Going level or downhill means that the engine doesn't have to work all that hard and doesn't demand much fuel, so a partially clogged filter can usually flow enough to allow the car to run smoothly. Going uphill requires signficantly more fuel, and if the filter is clogged up, it won't be able to flow enough fuel. This will bog the car down and cause you to lose speed. Change your fuel filter.
