I thought I had a bulbburn out, but was able to fix it by making sure the bulb ... I spent about $250.00 a few months ago replacing a headlight bulb! ... I know this is an old post, but my 02altima's passenger headlight keeps burning! it's the 3rd time this year!
Need to disconnect ground to battery before replacing light bulb or fuse will blow. Fuse is located in engine compartment next to windshield washer fluid.
cHECK TO SEE IF THE BULB IS NOT REPLACED FROM THE REAR OF THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY. MOST NEWER CARS ARE. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PUT THE BULB IN THAT YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS. THE OIL FROM YOU FINGERPRINT WILL LEAVE A HOT SPOT AND CAUSE THE NEW BULB TO BURN OUT QUICKLY.
you have to remove the bulbs from inside of the hood in the engine compartment. in some cars you have to remove some "pins' and remove the entire headlight assembly.. You then remove the holder where the lightbulb is located and replace the bulb.
