I have a 2008 chevy Equinox. When the headlights are on normal, the left one works but the right one doesn't. When I switch the high beams on, the right works but the left doesn't. Any suggestions?

Head lights are a two stage bulb. One filiment for low beam. One filiment for high beam. The low beam filiment is burnt out . a new set of headlight bulbs will fix you up.

I have a 05 chevy equinox and the left brake light wont work...I changed the bulb and the light works but when i push on the brake it wont light up...any ideas of what it might be...

If you're sure the bulb is good, your next step would be to get a volt meter and test the bulb socket. You most likely have either corrosion in the socket or possibly a bad wire or ground.

2005 chevy equinox headlights went out, only the driver side bright light works. Does this mean the passenger side headlamp is blown?

Sounds like you are right own...to change each bulb...you need to remove the chrome grill from the front center...be sure to pry up the clips carefully so not to break the trim bar...then each headlight assembly is removable with 3 10 mm bolts...do not touch your exposed fingers on the new bulbs...yes the low/high bulb is one unit...that is why I believe it is just your bulbs...about $11. each...Hope this helps.

Changing headlight

There is an entire section in the Manual as to how to change the headlights. It involves dismantling the grill of the car. There are about six black pegs that need to be pulled out that attach the grill to the car. Pull the grill up and towards you. The silver trim that the Chevy emblem is on will pop off. Then on each light there are two screws that need to be removed on the top, and one hex screw on the side about half-way down the light. You can then pull the light up and out towards you to change the bulb.
