Question about 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
My lock ignition system needs to be replaced, and the first step on doing so is removing the steering wheel. How do i do this?
If you are trying to remove the steering wheel to change the ignition switch, then you may not have to. The switch is on the steering column about 1/2 down towards the floor, and has a rod that runs from the key cylinder & locking part. You dont need to remove the steering wheel, but if you do so, I suggest you to take some help from some Paint and Body shop so that they can direct you to do it properly and safely.
Do let me know if it helped.
