Fuel pump going out or something else?

There are numerous reasons for a vehicle to stall at random. Is the check engine light on? If so, scanning for codes would be a good place to start. Having a fuel pump pressure test performed will let you know if there is actually a fuel pump/power supply issue causing the stalling

Can a faulty alarm system cause vehicle to stall

Depends on whether the alarm system contains an immobiliser as well - in which case it may very well be the cause of the "stalling". You may have to get this checked by a technician.

STARTS BUT WONT KEEP RUNNING

Something you might want to look into is this. GM has had tons of trouble with the antitheft security system. When it fails or is beginging to fail, you will get random stalls while driving along with starting the vehicle. It will run for 5 seconds or less and then stall. Just something to look into. Here is a link on that.

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre that has been shutting off randomly going down the road for no apparent reason

It is common for GM's vehicles to stall due to the anti theft security system. Look for a light that says "security" the next time it stalls. If you see this light, check out this link for options and info. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

I have a Semi-Automatic 2005 BMW e46 318i. The engine randomly cuts out (stalls) when decellerating, coming to a stop, or when stopped. Other than this problem the car drives fine, and the engine starts up...

The problem you are having sounds suspiciously like the torque converter is not disengaging to allow your engine to spin freely until you are ready to accelerate. If when decelerating or coming to a stop you feel a jerking sensation similar to driving a vehicle with a manual transmission and bringing the vehicle to a stop without depressing the clutch, then the problem you are having is faulty Torque Converter Control Solenoid or a bad Torque Converter itself. If you have any other questions please contact me here. Good luck.

Car stalls unless gas constantly supplied otherwise car dies all dash lights come on usually on start up

Inspect and clean IAC valve (idle air control valve), replace if necessary. If IAC is Ok, please provide additional info!! Does your vehicle experience random or repeated hard starts?? Is your "service engine soon" light on?? These vehicles are known for faulty crank position sensor, usual symptoms are: hard starts, random/constant stalls, SES light on, misfire or no start. Some or all symptoms may or may not occur simultaneously.

I have a 03 Lincoln Navigator with 80K on it. I just purchased it used (not through a dealership-used car dealership) and have certain warrenties on it. It drives like a dream around town but when you are...

This vehicle and the Ford Expedition are known for this issue. It is very possible that your Ignition coils are going bad. Typical issues will start intermittently>> random Jerks on take off, shutter 45-65mph when the gas pedal is pressed, stalls, random misfire (engine light may or may not appear. This problem will get worst over time leading to stalls and misfires or the vehicle will simply ditch you!! I recommend replacing ALL 8 coils and performing a tune-up simultaneously (spark plug replacement). The coils on these vehicles tend to fail between 70k-110k miles, if all aren't replaced you may experience the same issue in the near future.

Car stalls at ramdom

If the vehicle is a higher mileage above 50,000, then I suggest a fuel system cleaning.
